This release delivers a substantial number of bug fixes across key areas including certificate handling, timetable switching, and the Student and Trainer Portals. We’ve also made meaningful improvements to reporting and usability features, including scheduled reports, trainer availability copying, and the completion of our Froala WYSIWYG rollout. Work continues behind the scenes to support our AVETMISS compliance goals, which remain a major focus this quarter.
New Features
We’ve got a new WYSIWYG editor! Over the past couple of months it’s been out in an open beta where we were fixing some issues with it as they came up, and it’s now available for everyone
Improvements
Changed certificate date source for certificates sent to Otter
Improved trainer availability to allow copying of a day’s availability to any combination of days within the next three months
Updated the “students in progress” list on the Stats tab of a Course or Unit Specifications page to exclude archived enrolments
Added a checkbox to mini certs to override numbering in line with SA White Card Requirements, where certificate numbers must be

Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where switching timetables could result in a certificate being available with the old timetable’s details
Fixed the CRICOS/ELICOS workbench search, where it was returning 0 results
Altered the trainer portal’s session student list to show a better picture of the students who need to attend, or historically did attend
Fixed the filename for files downloaded from an activity in the Student Portal
Changed the Student Portal to always show activities to students, even if the activity is locked. Previously if a student had no openable activities in a unit, it appeared there were no activities
Fixed an issue where self-serve timetable switches weren’t checking to see if the target timetable still had places
Fixed Custom Report Generator to include Internal Titles and Codes where recognised ones weren’t set, and re-introduced “timetable type” field
Fixed an issue where some sessions were unavailable to Trainers in the Trainer Portal
Fixed an issue where bad data was preventing Catapult results from updating
Fixed an issue where Renewal Report Survey Data didn’t include non-accredited units in accredited courses
Fixed an issue where incorrect branding sometimes went out for LLN
