This release focuses heavily on performance improvements, reporting reliability, and email configuration enhancements. We’ve resolved renewal report timeouts, improved report generation speeds, strengthened certificate delivery processes, and introduced greater control over email sender settings. Alongside these updates, we’ve added a new calendar-based view for practical sessions in the Student Portal and continued refining the messaging and payments experience.

New Features

• Added session calendar to the student portal dash and course pages

Improvements

• Updated alert settings to include a new “Certificates” category.

  Each category now has a sender name and email address, which can be set independently. These do still need to be within the same mail domain for SES verification to function.

• Added a “record attendance” button to the timetable calendar in the Admin Portal

• Improved the speed of Email Transmission Log and Assessor Statistics reports

• Added a new category for “generic” email notifications, which are the default settings for emails to come from Vasto.

• Added the ability to customise the Email and SMS notification that is sent when clicking “Alert Student” for a batch of, or single, certificate.

• Changed “upload photo” option in the admin portal to use the same uploader as other file uploads.

• Added WYSIWYG editors to the Letter Templates, Dynamic Documents and Booking Confirmation Templates

• Changed payment request logic to prevent paying a different amount to the requested amount.

• Added pagination for CRG on-screen report for bulky data

• Implemented the cut-over for LLN Robot subscriptions, per their terms of use.

Bug Fixes

• Removed “maximum time to complete” dashboard alert setting as it was non-functional. To receive alerts for students nearing their time limit expiry, please use our Automated Messaging feature.

• Fixed an issue where the renewal report would time out.

• Fixed an issue where duplicated certificate filenames could prevent all certificates from appearing in a bundle. We now enforce the certificate number if you’re not using [random_string] naming

• Fixed an issue preventing Custom Reports from generating

• Fixed an issue with Vasto Exam submissions that sometimes prevented students from proceeding with their exam.

• Fixed an issue with trainers marking practical sessions and it not updating module (and CAE) completion

• Fixed an issue where timetable switches weren't prompting to add a fee
