Workflow Monitor and Workflow Tasks

The workflow monitor allows you to create a list of tasks that apply to student enrolments for a particular course or unit. These tasks populate into the workflow monitor as a list of tasks which are due at specific trigger points in a student enrolment journey.

How to set up Workflow Tasks

Step 1. Go to the WORKFLOW TASKS tab of the course specification page.

Step 2. Create tasks with triggers and assigned responsibilities. See example below:

Step 3. From the TT item MANAGE STUDENTS page, click the new WORKFLOWS button to open the workflow monitor page for just that group of students

Step 4. From the DASHBOARD, see the new Workflow Tasks metric at the top. Clicking this opens the full workflow task manager for all students

Step 5. The workflow task manager enabled the user to tick when tasks have been completed.

Step 6. The cells then go green. Each task has a target date – of overdue the cell will be red.

Step 7. You can click the paperclip button to add any number of notes for a task.

Step 8. Once you have added note, you can also attach a file to it if document evidence or related file storage is required
