The Find search box appears on all Vasto pages. Previously known as the "Find A Student" box, the search box at the top right hand corner of admin portal is an easy to access and powerful search tool.

Hover your mouse over the search box to reveal more details on what you can search, and how to use this feature.

Find a Student

By typing directly into the search box, you can find a student by providing any of the below details;

• All or part of a name
• Email address
• Student ID
• USI
• Phone number
• Internal reference
• NSW commitment ID

I didn't get a search result? 

The quick search will return results for live bookings, where the booking date is within the past four years.

If the enrolment is archived or a test enrolment, you will need to click the applicable button to view those enrolment types.

If the enrolment was from more than four years ago, you should edit the default date range.

Find Using Short Code

The find search bar can be used to search for more than just a student or enrolment. If you prefix your search with the appropriate short code, you can search a Vasto ID number for the below;

• Booking b:{booking ID}
• Enrolment Progress Tracker e:{enrolment ID}
• Manage Enrolment Timetable View t:{timetable ID}
• Course c:{course ID}
• Unit u:{unit ID}
• Venue profile v:{venue ID}
• List of Corporate Clients corp:{all or part of business name}

For example, to open booking ID 123456 you would enter b:123456 as your search term - then click the magnifying glass icon or press enter on your keyboard to run the search.
