The advanced search function is the most powerful search tool in Vasto. It allows you to combine multiple filters to locate student enrolments.

How to Use Advanced Search

1. Navigate to Manage > Advanced Search
   
   
   
2. Choose your search criteria. These can be combined to make the search more specific
   
   
   • Assessor (as assigned at enrolment level)
   • Enrolment progress status (ie. is the enrolment in progress, complete, suspended, etc)
   • Exclusions are enabled by default so these types of bookings are excluded from a search. Untick these exclusions as appropriate if you would like your search to include;
     • test bookings
     • cancelled enrolments
     • suspended enrolments
     • hidden people
       
       
3. Once your search terms and filters are set, click the search button
   
   
   
4. Search results will populate on the right side of screen. You can click the student name to view their individual profile or click the booking ID to view the booking editor for this enrolment. 
   
   
   
5. Scroll down the page, to see a list of any students in Vasto that do not have any enrolments. Click view to see their individual profile.
   
   
   

I am still unable to find the student?

Make sure that you have unticked all the exclusion boxes, so nothing is excluded from your advanced search. Failing that, please submit a help ticket for further assistance.
