We've made it possible to notify students by SMS, Email or both when a Certificate has been generated and is readily available in the Student's Portal. 

Account-Level Setting

You can enable this setting at the Account Level. To enable this setting, go to Set-Up → Certificates → SMS Notifications. On the bottom right-hand side of the screen is the SMS Notifications checkbox.

After generating a Certificate, there is a checkbox option to send an SMS Alert.

We've made some updates to our Integration with Catapult.

This update only impacts Catapult customers who subscribe, not those who currently pay per unit. 

We've made it possible for those using the Catapult Integration to see their usage of the Catapult Unit/s. 

As an Admin, you can now go to Set-Up → My Account to see the number of Catapult Units you have subscribed to and the number of units you have used so far. This data is made available by the Catapult API. 

We've made an Admin Portal Alert which will advise you when you reach 90% of your Catapult Unit Enrolments. 

As you approach your Annual Limit of Catapult Unit/s, you will be presented with an Alert. This feature will help you proactively manage your unit availability and avoid disruption to your service. 

Limits for subscriptions will now be enforced. Should you reach your annual limit, you will be able to create additional enrolments into a Catapult Unit once additional units are purchased. 

Our new System Alerts should help to let you know when you are approaching your limits so you can plan accordingly. 

We've added a warning to the Default Payment Schedule within a Timetable item.

If, as an Admin, you attempt to add a percentage value greater than 100%, to the Default Payment Schedule, within the Timetable Editor, you will be met with an Error: Percentages Exceed 100%. This extra validation should help to ensure data is correctly entered. 

We've moved the 'Advanced Element Positioning' button to the bottom right-hand side of the screen when viewing a Certificate Template. 

We've made this change so that you no longer have to save and refresh any changes to the Template before you can access the Advanced Element Positioning button. 

We've deprecated the option to Generate AVETMISS 7 Schema Compliant NAT Files.

In our continued effort to make Vasto the most reliable student management system in the market, we've eliminated several issues in the platform with this update! 

Here's a quick rundown on those fixes:

• We've resolved an issue that could occasionally cause system alerts to be blocked from transmitting. [VAS-71]
• We've resolved an issue preventing the deletion of a Course or Unit that ONLY had previously cancelled Enrolments records attached to them. [VAS-73]
• We've resolved an issue that was causing the selected 'Gender' to not immediately update on a person's Admin Portal Profile when the Student's VET Form was updated and saved. [VAS-100]
• We've resolved an issue that could occasionally lead to eligible data rows being omitted from output reports. [VAS-101]
• We've updated the USI Workbench to ensure that search terms and filters are maintained when navigating between pages. The USI Workbench search function now works when you use the ENTER key to search. [VAS-54]
• We've resolved an issue that would occasionally cause Payment Requests for 'Commencement' Events not to trigger as expected. [VAS-103]
