Create a Nationally Accredited Unit 

Vasto has a useful function which makes creating Nationally Recognised units easier. This function uses the Training.gov.au data about units, and will import their basic details. 

1. Navigate to units (Courses > My Units) and click the button to ADD NEW 
   
   
   
2. Click the 'add new' button 
   
   
   
3. Provide the recognised code for the unit you wish to create
   If you are unsure, refer to the training.gov.au website.
   You do not need to enter the unit's title, this will be imported automatically based on the unit code.
   Click the CONTINUE button.
   
   
   

Create a non-VET unit 

This would the process of creating a unit, when it is not nationally accredited and you will not be importing the data from training.gov.au. 

1. Navigate to units (Courses > My Units) and click the button to ADD NEW 
   
   
   
2. Click the 'add new' button 
   
   
   
3. Enter a unit title (and a unit code if applicable) and click CONTINUE.
