Clone a Timetable Item

The clone function allows you to quickly and easily copy an existing timetable item.

This is useful where you will schedule the same course frequently, with only minor differences - for example the dates of practical sessions, or who the trainer will be.

How to Clone a Timetable

  1. Navigate to the master timetable list (Manage > Timetables)

  2. Look for the timetable item you would line to clone, and click the CLONE button

  3. Alternatively if you have the Timetable Calendar enabled (Manage > Timetable Calendar), click on an item you wish to clone and click the copy icon in the top right of the pop-up

  5. Optionally use the advanced cloning options. If you do not utilise these, all clones will be created with the same date as the original timetable item.

    - Provide the date you wish the clones to commence from.

    - If clones should not be created every day, but only specific days (ie. Monday's only) select the days

    - If clones should not be created on holidays, select to exclude holidays

  7. A summary of the cloned timetables will display on the page, and provide you the opportunity to easily edit from the one screen certain details like date, location, pricing, etc.

    - If you make changes to a clone (ie. change the price, trainer, etc.) click it's RE-SAVE button

    - The same as producing a timetable from scratch, by default a clone will be in draft mode when it is created. To publish instantly, click the PUBLISH button

    - If you are utilising pathways, we recommend you click the EDIT SESSIONS button and check pathways have been selected prior to publishing

    - If you have produced too many clones, click DELETE on any you no longer require

    - To open the detailed timetable editor, click OPEN
