Please begin on this help page Timetable Setup - Add Details on Page 1, as this page continues to review some of the more advanced functions when creating a new timetable item.

Timetable Status
At point of creation, a timetable will appear in draft mode. This feature stops your new timetable items from receiving enrolments before you decide they're ready. This means this timetable will not;
- allow self-enrolments via share links, and share links cannot be generated
- show in the list of available options when creating a new enrolment via Manage > New Enrolment
- display in web widgets
Click the button to publish now when you want these functions to become available.
You can move a timetable back to draft mode at any time. Click the button to unpublish a timetable.
Manage Enrolments
This section allows you to navigate to manage enrolments for this timetable item.
It will also advise you if there are any enrolments into this timetable - where you should communicate any changes made to these students who are already enrolled.
Advanced Settings

If you have applied a category to this timetable item, this will be displayed about the course/unit title.
If a category was not applied, this will display as 'uncategorised'.

This will appear in brackets on the certificate and transcripts, after the course title. Typically used to indicate a specific set of electives.
Unit Pathways
Select which pathway students on this timetable will follow by ticking the box against the desired pathway.
For more information on pathways, see this help page.
- If you have only one pathway, this will be selected by default
- Where multiple pathways exist, you need to specify which pathway should be used for enrolments into this timetable
- Generally speaking ONLY ONE pathway should be selected per unit
- If multiple pathways are selected, the student will be asked to choose the pathway in student portal
Mouse over the information icon to view a list of activities required for the pathway
Mouse over a warning icon for more detail of what the error is
Default Assessor by Unit
If you will have the same assessor for all units in a course, you should select a default assessor for the timetable on page 1 of the timetable setup.
If you wish to specify different assessors for each unit, select from the drop down list which assessor should be the default assessor unit by unit.
Elective Units
Where a course contains elective units, you can control at timetable level which electives are presented to students that are enrolled. This is useful if you have predetermined elective combinations or streams which are offered, and you do not want to let students choose from the full suite of units
All elective units are included by default when you create a new timetable item.
- Click the orange 'remove elective' button to remove a unit from this timetable item.
- If a unit has been removed, you can add it back in by clicking the blue 'click here to insert' button.
Core units cannot be removed, and will not have the button available.
NOTE: Keep in mind any changes at timetable level will affect all students enrolled on that timetable
Frequently Asked Questions
I've added a unit to my course. Why can't I see it in the progress tracker or student portal?
If you have already created a timetable item/s for this course prior to adding new units to the course structure, and it is an elective unit (not a core unit) then it will need to be manually inserted for each pre-existing timetable.
I clicked the button to insert a unit which was previously removed. I still can't see any pathway information or unit details
You must refresh the page, per advice from the on-screen notification to see these changes pull through.
