This release introduces the first public version of the Vasto API, including API key registration, timetable endpoints and public documentation. 

Alongside this, we’ve continued platform modernisation work following the PHP 8.4 upgrade, improved reporting and payment reliability, and delivered a wide range of fixes across enrolments, uploads, messaging, SCORM, and Student Portal workflows. 

We’ve also begun the first stage of the Vasto retheme with updated branding and colours.

New Features

• Exam completion text updated to print content rather than object type
• Increase file size limit to allow for 1GB uploads
• Read Only now allows report generation
• Added logging page via Laravel
• Updated to use new logo and colours as first stage of retheme

• Added v1 of API, users can register keys and view the logs against any API calls made.

• Added documentation and swagger for new API

Improvements

• Updated timetable switching process to be more consistent between administrators and students.

  • Administrators can now set a switch fee, a rush fee and a late fee for self-serve switches.

  • Students are prompted with the “most severe” of these fees when switching.

  • Administrators have the option to produce a payment request for the switch when using the timetable or booking switch process, allowing you to switch a student for free if necessary.

  • Added extra information about the timetables in the list when choosing one to switch to.

  • Fixed mobile styling for the Student Portal to allow for a better switching experience.
• Fixed issues with suburb name mismatch between Address lookup and Australia Post, such as “St Leonards” and “Mt Compass”. Now, when saving an AVETMISS profile for a student, “Saint” is saved as “St” and “Mount” is saved as “Mt”
• AI improvements, including updates to Violet AI to return formatted results and use an updated model
• Drastically sped up the Aged Receivables Report

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where payments synced back from Xero were not triggering a payment status update for invoices.
• Restored alerts for “fuzzy matched” enrolments

• Updated child certificates to be linked to a brand instead of a corporate client, in line with the timetable, booking and certificate brand selections.
