How to setup a virtual classroom
A virtual classroom, or virtual training room, is a 'room' assigned to a trainer that is unique to that trainer, for the purposes of delivering a virtual/online practical session. It should be noted that if you have multiple trainers you will need to ensure they have their own Zoom account that allows for their own unique personal meeting room link. You can setup a virtual training room by reviewing the video at the bottom of the page.
When creating a new location, you now have the ability to select if it is to be a 'virtual venue.'
When you create a virtual venue, you have the ability to embed a unique link, which then acts as the trainer's 'private virtual room' and is affiliated with that trainer. Although you can use video hosting services such as Skype, or gotomeeting, we recommend using Zoom due to the functionality. Vasto support can only assist and troubleshoot for Zoom virtual venues. We recommend to title the rooms as follows for ease of use: Virtual Training Room – (Insert Trainer Name Here)
Once you have set your unique web meeting URL, you can continue to flesh your virtual venue out with any other additional comments, as per a standard venue.
Virtual venues have a direct link to the web meeting URL from the venue dashboard and appear slightly differently to a standard venue.
