This Certificate History option displays the list of all generated (past) certificates. When you generate a certificate, it is automatically transferred to the Certificate History page.
A number of actions can be performed from the certificate history, including generating reports, editing, deleting and resending the certificate.
Locating Certificate Dashboard
The certificate dashboard can be located by navigating to the Manage menu, and selecting Certificates.
From the Certificate Dashboard, click on the History box.
Certificates History
The certificates history first and foremost, is a list of all certificates which have been issued. The list view includes summary information such as certificate ID, student name, and the certificate title.
A variety of filters at the top of the page allow for easy searching through the history list.
A drop down box in the top right corner offers the ability to apply actions in bulk.
The actions button allows you to perform actions against an individual certificate.
Certificate Actions
The actions button provides a variety of actions against the individual certificate. Below you can find an explanation for each of these actions.
Open Print View
This opens a PDF copy of the certificate, with no background artwork. This is useful if you are printing the certificates as a hardcopy onto card stock with embellishments and artwork. Only the certificate text is included.
Open Full View
This opens a PDF copy of the certificate, with the digital background artwork. This is useful if the certificate will be distributed electronically.
Release and Alert Student
If a certificate was NOT released at point of creation, it will remain with a status of ON HOLD and it is not made available for download in the student portal.
The release and alert function allows admin to retrospectively RELEASE the certificate for access in the student portal, while also sending an email notification that it is now available.
To release and alert, simply click the box.
This is also useful if a student needs the details to be re-sent, clicking the box when the status is already set to RELEASED will simply send them another email notification with details on how to access student portal and their certificate.
Print Address Label
This opens a PDF file for a label
Edit Certificate
This opens up a screen where you can edit the certificate's attributes - including the applied template.
NOTE: On Transitory certificates only, you can toggle to remove individual units so they do not appear on that certificate.
Delete Certificate
This will delete the issued certificate from your certificate history. This should only be used if the certificate was issued in error, and needs to be revoked or destroyed.
Details of deleted certificates are retained, and can be found using the Report function.
Once a certificate has been deleted, the enrolment (if complete) will return to the certificate queue to be issued again when appropriate.
