Vasto Release 5.93

This month’s release is a bit lighter on new features as our focus has been on supporting AVETMISS reporting requirements. However, we’ve still made important improvements and fixes to enhance the platform.

New Features

  • Added download attendance sheet buttons to the Partner portal and are now displaying both practical session and short session types.

Improvements

  • Updated the “export contacts” option from a timetable to export in the same format as the import spreadsheet for new enrolments.

  • Added the ability for Confirmation Letter Templates to have background artwork, similarly to how certificates have background artwork.

  • Added the ability for Training Partners to accept payments via Eway as well as PayPal.

  • Added a “disability” icon to the assessor portal in the same way it’s visible in the trainer portal.

  • Added optional phone number fields to the “Create Enrolment” screen in the admin portal. This lets you provide a phone number at enrolment instead of getting the student to fill it out later.

  • New portal menu will now stay minimized or open on page load.

Bugs

  • Fixed an issue where importing enrolments could create duplicate person profiles.

  • Fixed the display of clustered units in the timetable pathways page.

  • Fix for PDF creation issues.

  • Fix for merge conflict on course_cover.php.

  • Fix for insert issue with new organisation flags.

  • Fix for certificate prefix issue.

  • Added extra optional columns to the billing template.

  • Select2 enhancements and Xero API query updates.

  • Fixed bulk import issue with DOB and a user having >1 person record breaking import.

  • Fix for workplace timetable filter.

  • Fixed enrolment progress report query for course enrolments.

  • Added venue address and commencement date to dynamic invoice item template fields.

  • Resolved an issue where editing a partner would no longer mark them as a “partner” organisation.

  • Fixed an issue where the Average Scores Report was not taking manually assessed matrix questions into account for calculating completion.
