This release brings significant upgrades to Vasto's Automated Messaging system, making it easier to manage and apply communication rules at both system and organisational levels. We’ve also upgraded our training.gov.au integration to including improved element extraction and update frequency. 

Rounding out the release are various bug fixes and refinements that improve the self-enrolment process, training plans, and document handling for staff declarations.

Improvements

• Automated Messaging
  • Added the ability to configure message rules at the system level instead of per course/module (e.g. “2 days after enrolment” globally).
  • Automated Messages Manager: Added a central admin page to view, configure, enable/disable all automated messages across the platform.
  • You can now select multiple organisation groups for rules.
  • Public (non-organisation) enrolments can now be optionally included.
• Training.gov.au Integration Updates
  • Packaging Rules for Qualifications and Accredited Courses are now visible when assigning them.
  • More frequent TGA component updates.
• Xero integration update: Added a disconnect button that removes the Vasto connection from your connected apps in Xero.
• RPL enrolment cleanup: RPL unit selection now only shows the relevant units from the timetable (not all electives).
• Added the ability for “Staff Declaration” activities to include file uploads, with admin control over whether files are required or visible to the student.

Bugs

• Fixed a bug where the incorrect recognition status was being set for Qualifications upon creation.
• Fixed an issue where the Unit Progress/Outcome Editor was missing the student’s name.
• Resolved self-enrolment failures when existing student details did not fully match.
• Fixed an issue where non-current units were being included in the training plan template after unit upgrading.
