Release 5.101

Vasto 5.101 contains some important updates to our USI, training.gov.au and Hubspot integrations, along with a new interface for Alert Settings and to assist students setting and resetting their portal passwords.

Along with this, we have continued to work on platform stability and fixing bugs that get reported.

Improvements

• Sped up the processing of invalid USIs by checking and tracking them in the background, as well as the JIT checking that happens when a student saves their information.
• We’ve made further improvements to the student password-setting process. Visually, everything looks a lot nicer and provides clearer instructions about what to do if a student didn’t click the activation/reset link within the 24-hour timeout period.
• Fixed an issue where in some cases it was impossible for a trainer or admin to delete their PD entries
• Updated our Hubspot integration in order to support their API changes around custom object naming and IDs.
• Expanded our LLN Robot integration to allow re-sending of an LLN invite at any point.
• Added a retry for LLN invitations if the invite fails to generate the first time.

Bug Fixes

• Updated the way we handle alerts when various things happen. You can now select to have an email and/or a system message for these events, where previously removing the email address would disable the alert entirely. We’ve also added in some more categories so you can better control the alerts that your admin team receive.
• Added new “Incomplete Due to RTO Closure” unit outcome to Enrolment Progress Editor
• Ensured new unit outcome appears as withdrawn on academic transcript
• Fixed issue with newline character encoding in updated contact logs
• Fixed issue where virtual venue timezone field wasn’t accounted for with recent address linking changes
• Fixed issue with getting Training Plan data.
• Now filtering test_only bookings from the corporate portal index
• Added support for NSW Deferred Training outcome code by adding “D” as the Outcome Identifier - Training Organisation and using the planned start and finish dates for Unit Activity Dates
• Fixed a slow query that was looking into the Student Exam Log
• Fixed an issue with the “add outcomes” section of a unit. Sometimes training.gov.au has a 2 column layout, sometimes it’s a 4 column layout which broke the “Import from TGA” and “Paste outcomes here” options for adding outcomes to a unit.
• Updated our USI integration to not bother validating people without a USI or Date of Birth as these would automatically fail.
