What file types can be uploaded into Vasto?

For security reasons, only specific file types can be uploaded by users into Vasto. Below is the complete list of allowed file types.

.doc, .docx, .pdf, .zip, .txt, .mp3, .m4a, .wav, .xls, .xlsx, .csv, .mp4, .flv, .mpeg, .mov, .avi, .wmv, .jpg, .jfif, .jfi, .jpe, .png, .tif, .jpeg, .bmp, .gif, .svg, .3gp, .webm, .ppt, .pptx, .numbers, .pages

Note that Admin users only can also upload .ppsx, .pps and .pptm files.

If you need to upload a file type that isn't accepted by Vasto, we recommend saving it into a "zip folder" or "archive file" and then uploading the zip/archive into the LMS. This feature can be accessed by right clicking the file and then selecting Compress if on an Apple machine or Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder on a Windows machine.
