We are happy to announce release 5.89 of Vasto Educator, which contains a significant rework of the Exams workflow to improve the stability when delivering your course content.
Alongside this, we have continued to resolve bugs as we work towards our commitment to providing the best and most stable platform possible.
Improvement
- Exams have been thoroughly reviewed based on user feedback following the past couple of releases. We have summarised the way in which the exam options work in this Help Centre Article.
- Added one-time recovery codes for users using MFA.
- Simplified the “log in as user” process, so that now if you click on a second user while one is logged in, the first one will be logged out. Also when you’re doing this and click “logout” in the end-user portals, your main session is no longer logged out.
- Updated certificates to allow setting signatories per certificate instead of relying on templates.
- The "Banked Receipts" tile visibility is now controlled by the "Access Billing" permission.
- Added artwork for the Statement of Results (SOR) page in certificate templates.
- Updated the Chargeback report to include timetables where the selected trainer(s) were assigned to sessions but not to the timetable.
- Improved wording in the certificate notification email sent to students.
Bug Fixes
- Redirect URL is now preserved when using MFA.
- Fixed a bug where it was possible to have multiple payment requests generated for a single booking, resulting in it being able to be overpaid.
- Fixed an issue where the Trainer Schedule page was showing less classes on the calendar than there were on the same day. This happened when the number of “short” and “activity” sessions was the same.
- Fixed an issue preventing users from viewing class lists in the portal.
- Resolved a bug where saving and adding activities to all pathways did not function correctly.
- Fixed a bug where opening a transitory certificate for a withdrawn student set their enrolment to "in progress."
- Resolved an issue preventing editing of Catapult Unit activities once created.
- Fixed an issue where Catapult usernames with capital letters did not update progress.
- The Learning Content box now properly loads as a TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor when editing activities.
